What is Prevage™ Antioxidant Cream?

PREVAGE™ antioxidant cream, the next generation antioxidant, has been scientifically proven to be more potent than current physician-dispensed antioxidants including kinetin, coenzyme Q10, vitamin C, vitamin E, and lipoic acid in protecting against environmental stressors known to cause skin aging.1 Results from clinical studies with PREVAGE™ antioxidant cream showed significant improvement in only 6 weeks.2 There was marked improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as improvement in skin tone and dryness and roughness.

About Antioxidants

Free radical–mediated inflammatory pathways are caused by exposure to environmental stressors such as UV radiation, ozone, air pollution, and cigarette smoke, among others. These inflammatory pathways are characterized by the formation of free radicals, which are highly reactive molecules with unpaired electrons.

If they are left unchecked, free radicals can cause extensive cellular damage to cell membranes, lipids, proteins, and DNA. They are also a major cause of skin aging. Because they scavenge and eliminate free radicals, antioxidants are able to counter the deleterious effects of the free radical-mediated inflammatory pathways promoted by oxidative stress.
